AI+Vision is an education app made by ACApplications, LLC. It lets users send an image and ask an AI to describe it, read it or answer questions about it.
What this policy covers
This policy covers AI+Vision captured or selected images, questions, follow-up messages, optional accounts, app diagnostics, analytics and purchases.
What the app collects
AI+Vision handles information that you choose to provide, including:
- Photos and images you capture or select.
- Questions and follow-up messages about an image.
- Text visible in a submitted image.
- Subscription and purchase state.
You do not need an account to use AI+Vision. If you create one, ACApplications stores the name, email address and authentication credentials you provide. Account information is retained for as long as the account is active.
Firebase Crashlytics collects crash and diagnostic data. Google Analytics for Firebase collects analytics data. AI+Vision collects a push notification token to deliver notifications.
How it is used
AI+Vision uses the submitted image and question to describe an object or scene, read text, answer a visual question or produce another response you request. Account information is used to authenticate an optional account.
Crash and diagnostic data help ACApplications find and fix app problems. Analytics data helps ACApplications understand how the app is used. Data in transit is protected by SSL encryption.
Who it is shared with
ACApplications anonymizes the image and related questions needed to answer your request before sending them to third-party AI providers. Depending on the requested result, that content is processed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or DeepSeek. Each provider is subject to its own privacy policy.
Content sent to an AI provider is used to generate a response. ACApplications does not retain that content for training.
Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and diagnostic data. Google Analytics for Firebase receives analytics data. RevenueCat receives information needed to manage subscriptions and purchase state.
ACApplications does not sell your personal information. Your information is not used for advertising.
Camera, photos and microphone
AI+Vision does not store submitted photos or images on ACApplications servers. When you choose to submit an image, it is sent only to produce the description, reading, answer or other result you requested.
AI+Vision accesses the camera or photo library only when you choose to capture or select an image and grant the corresponding iOS permission.
Purchases
AI+Vision is free to download and offers in-app purchases. Apple handles payment processing, and Apple's terms apply. RevenueCat manages subscription and purchase state.
Children
AI+Vision is not directed at anyone under 13. ACApplications does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If ACApplications learns that it has collected such information, it deletes it promptly. A parent or guardian who believes their child provided personal information can contact support.
Your choices
You decide which images and questions to submit. You can manage camera and photo permissions through iOS and purchases through Apple. You can contact support to ask about deletion of account information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when AI+Vision or its data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
