StudyAI is an education app made by ACApplications, LLC. It explains submitted material, compares AI responses and lets users share conversations.
What this policy covers
This policy covers StudyAI conversations, optional accounts, submitted material, AI processing, app diagnostics, analytics and purchases.
What the app collects
StudyAI handles information that you choose to submit, including:
- Questions, prompts and messages in a conversation.
- Photos and images you capture or select.
- PDFs, text, audio, video and web sources you choose to provide.
- Conversations you choose to share.
- Subscription and purchase state.
You do not need an account to use StudyAI. If you create one, ACApplications stores the name, email address and authentication credentials you provide. Account information is retained for as long as the account is active.
Firebase Crashlytics collects crash and diagnostic data. Google Analytics for Firebase collects analytics data. StudyAI collects a push notification token to deliver notifications.
How it is used
StudyAI uses submitted content to answer your request, explain material and compare AI responses. Account information is used to authenticate an optional account. The sharing feature stores a conversation only when you choose to share it.
Crash and diagnostic data help ACApplications find and fix app problems. Analytics data helps ACApplications understand how the app is used. Data in transit is protected by SSL encryption.
Who it is shared with
ACApplications anonymizes the content needed to answer your request before sending it to third-party AI providers. Depending on the requested response, that content is processed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or DeepSeek. Each provider is subject to its own privacy policy.
Content sent to an AI provider is used to generate a response. ACApplications does not retain that content for training.
If you choose to share a conversation, anyone who has the link can view it.
Firebase Crashlytics receives crash and diagnostic data. Google Analytics for Firebase receives analytics data. RevenueCat receives information needed to manage subscriptions and purchase state.
ACApplications does not sell your personal information. Your information is not used for advertising.
Camera, photos and microphone
StudyAI does not store conversations or submitted photos, files, audio or video on ACApplications servers unless you choose to share a conversation. When you choose to share one, ACApplications stores that conversation so it can be served at a link. Anyone who has the link can view it. Conversations that you do not share are not stored on ACApplications servers. Media submitted in an unshared conversation is sent only to produce the result you requested.
StudyAI accesses the camera, photo library, microphone or files only when you choose a feature that needs them and grant the corresponding iOS permission.
Purchases
StudyAI is free to download and offers in-app purchases. Apple handles payment processing, and Apple's terms apply. RevenueCat manages subscription and purchase state.
Children
StudyAI is not directed at anyone under 13. ACApplications does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If ACApplications learns that it has collected such information, it deletes it promptly. A parent or guardian who believes their child provided personal information can contact support.
Your choices
You choose what to include in a conversation and whether to use camera, photo, microphone, file-upload or sharing features. You can manage device permissions in iOS and purchases through Apple. You can contact support to ask about deletion of account information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when StudyAI or its data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
